Anyone who appreciates a mild but full-bodied Merlot will love this wine. It is light but still classy and does not need to shy away from comparison with its peers. Pure pleasure.

In the far north of Italy, not far from Venice and very close to Cividale del Friuli on the border to Austria and Slovenia, a very special microclimate favours the vines of Altùris. The Julian Alps protect the vineyards from the harsh northern winds, while the mild Adriatic breeze creates a mild climate and ideal conditions for the production of high-quality wines.
