For more than 30 years, the Martincigh family has been running its business with determination and ease in the heart of the Colli Orientali del Friuli, one of the most suitable places in the D.O.C. wine growing zone. 80% of the vineyards are located on the terraces of the Colli and are ideally oriented towards the south-southwest. To the north of the Colli are the Alpi Giulie, a natural shelter from the cold winds from the east. In addition, the area is close to the sea. This climatic constellation means that optimal weather conditions contribute to the ripening of the grapes, resulting in an accumulation of intense aromas.
